I have a dilemma at the moment. I am currently awaiting an iPhone 4s through the post today but I know it can't be jb yet.
I already have an iPhone 4 so the upgrade isn't that spectacular and I am wondering if it's even worth while holding on the the 4s if there is no hope of it being jb anytime soon.
Do you reckon it's best just to stick with the jailbroken iPhone 4 and sell the 4s or hold out until it's jailbroken(if ever)?
That is quite a dilemma. I personally can't stand not having a jb if I had a choice...so I'm sticking to my iP4 (and for other reasons as well). I'm sure there will be a jb for the 4S and iPad 2 at some point, just not sure if it'll take quite some time or not. The iPad 2 took a while before a jb was out, and till now it only has one jb which is restricted to 4.3.3.
If you're happy with your 4...I say stick with it. If a jb comes out for the 4S later and you can buy it at that point in time, go for it!
Very good point, unless you don't care about jailbreaking but want the faster speed and Siri feature, then go for iphone 4s. It will be a while before you can jailbreak iphone 4s.
Note : Starting from IOS 5, saving shsh blob will not help you to restore once apple stops signing the firmware which means you will lose your jailbreak if your iphone ever crrash.
Cheers guys... I'm just hearing from quite a few places that a JB should be out shortly.
I really don't know what to do. The i4s comes tomorrow and I was looking forward to the faster processor and better signal but don't know if I can handle it without the JB
