i used Tiny Umbrella to save shsh blobs but i didn't see FW 5.0. what is going on here? i only see 4.3.5 on the list not the 5.0 FW. can you tell me what's going on?

I believe it is not possible to save an SHSH for iOS 5 and up :/

I was able to save ios5 blob with tiny umbrella 5.0b7

ohhhhh so the newer version couldn't save the 5.0 FW. it sucks huh. thanks guys!!!

It depends... Sometimes it really is saved and doesn't show up till a new fw is released, or it's not there lol. It's not 100% reflective of what is or isn't.

Yeah had the same issue as well, tried saving my shsh blobs but it gave me back an error.

Actually the reason saving 5.0 blobs is currently useless is because Apple changed the way they work.

Before you could simple "replay" the same SHSH file in order to reinstall firmware, however Apple introduced something Musclenerd called nuonce. This makes each SHSH unique for each install & a simple replay won't work.

+1, no more restore once apple stops signing the firmware. Disaster if you crash your iphone and have to restore to latest except if you have blob for iOS 4.
