Default What to know before upgrading jailbroken iphone to iphone 4s?

So I've got a jailbroken iPhone 3G on 4.0.1 and I plan to get the new iPhone 4s. I know it can't be jailbroken right now, but I'm okay with that. What I AM wondering about is how should I go about backing up my phone? Sure I could just sync with itunes and AppSync, but then that'll include ********** apps too, which I would assume would be a problem for when I want to restore on the new phone.

So would this be a problem to just do a restore with cracked apps on the 4s? I honestly don't remember which apps I have are purchased and which are cracked any more. Also, will having cracked apps be a problem for when I give an Apple store rep my Apple ID and password? I've never upgraded before so I was wondering if they'd try to sync my account to the new phone for me and then see errors due to the cracked apps.

    Any insight would be great!

This is true. Every time I update my phone from jailbroken to stock, I have to restore and it just says there was an error and the apps could not be synced to the phone. And I'm not sure if it automatically does this when syncing, but right click on your phone in iTunes and click "Transfer Purchases", this should make sure all the apps are in your app library, not just on the backup.

Ah good to know. Thanks you two. So do Apple employees sync for you using your Apple ID and not care about the error or do they expect you to restore your backup yourself?
