MC doesn't mean anything on 3gs
You need to know if you have the new or old bootrom to determine whether tethered or untethered jailbreak.
If 4th and 5th number is 40 and below, then old bootrom and untethered jailbreak.
OR check your iboot version .

Only two digits won't give the whole world your serial number. Is the 10 from the 4th and 5th starting from the left.
What is your current baseband ?Last edited by iYeow; 10-18-2011 at 05:26 PM.

You have the new bootrom, 0 means year 2000, if you have 9, then is old bootrom. You will be getting tethered jailbreak at IOS 5.

Oh ! so you have the ipad bb. You can only restore to custom firmware of IOS 5 created by Redsn0w for Mac. The window version doesn't create custom firmware yet.
