Default HELP! I know how but I'm not sure.

I'm using an iPhone 4, 4.2.1, BB 03.10.01, JB, Gevey SIM Unlocked, Original SIM not available anymore.

Here's my case: Simply, I just want to upgrade to iOS 5, but I wanted to backup Apps. I'm on windows by the way.

Which tools should I use? To upgrade to iOS5 and JB, preserve my BB, to backup Apps, and still can use my Gevey SIM. Original SIM not available so that means I also need to HACKtivate.

I'm not in a rush, I've read a lot of instructions over the web but what worries me is that when I do this things, something might go wrong like Gevey SIM won't work.

    Thanks! Appreciate everything.

I am not sure if you preserve your iOS 4 bb to be used with iOS 5 firmware will work with Gevey sim. Hopefully someone can comfirm it

you can preserve your baseband with sn0wbreeze or maybe even redsn0w on windows, but the 5.0 JB is tethered. as for hacktivating, not really sure what you will need to do, but there are some options that i know of. i have heard that you can activate an iphone using a phonebook sim card (usually available at radioshack for like $10). or you can request a sim card from the official carrier that is inactive (it should still work) or even buy one on ebay for cheap
