    I just tried jailbreaking ios5 from a guide on geek.com that was part of the article here. During that process I had to choose my ipsw, which I did. I got it to go through all the coding and stuff but when it finished it looks like cydia is on there but the icon is white and it does not load. Not sure whether or not the jailbreak went through and what I should do next.

    Oh,Im on a iphone 4 with verizon.

    Nevermind, I had to reboot tethered and I got the pinapple logo, cydia now has the right logo and boots fine, looks like I'm jailbroken and ready to go! Mods, feel free to close/delete
