how to download ios 5.0 in a low speed internet

hi i have a problem downloading the ios 5.0 fw
i have a very low internet speed ( about 20KBpS ) so when i download the fw from itunes ,it gets interruped in the middle saying network timed out... and the direct link in other site also gets interrupted somehow. the worst part is neither itunes nor the external direct links have resume supported.
i searched for the torrent file which have rusume support but no luck

is there a way out?

can somebody be generous enough to upload the file in hotfile or fileserve etc by splitting the fw in 100 mb zip files so that i cud download them

i have iphone 3GS and iphone 4 GSM

Dude just to to a public wifi location (Barnes and noble, library, etc). Otherwise you are never going to get it at that speed.

You should go to a wifi hotspot and download your ipsw and do your restore there.

At 20kbps I bet it takes over 5 min a Webpage or even 10 minutes to pull this up on a CPU Fail

Lol, I get 500kbps on my end. :/ still slow but I can live with it.

The speed sucks and I am out in a village of India where I'll be stuck for a while so there is no other options here!
The only option is a torrent file or a smaller splitted zip files
Can sb take that much trouble for me!

Have u tried a neighbors computer?

You can do this even if it's synced to your computer

Backup on your Comp
Download and install from another comp then when it reboots unplug it and go to your main comp and tell it to restore from backup, dont do anything on the iPhone until u click restore from backup

No luck tried that but the problem is the iOS won't get downloaded completely

At that rate...that would take days to download a file that size. I tried to download it at Starbucks at 1mbps and it estimated 3 hours. Got fed up and went home to dl it

But...I think if you've got 3 hours of free time, download it at Starbucks or somewhere with free wifi like someone else suggested earlier. I'm not surprised it times out bc of such a slow Internet speed. Think that's the easiest solution, just to access Internet that's a bit faster.

Can somebody download it for me and split it win win zip or rar and upload it to any file hosting sites
That's the only way I can think of (if torrents are illegal)
