Yes it is! Got ipad 2 jailbroke it at home... Not on 5.0 but is jailbroke...

Who all would you recommend following? I am currently only following MuscleNerd and iPhone_dev.

Anxiously awaiting jailbreak - I miss SBSettings and the mail notification in the status bar the most of my iP4... and triple click to LED... and double click on lock screen to multitask... and - oh the list goes on and on....

what is triple click to LED? Led camera flash for a torch or something?

Yup. From lock screen you could 3x click and light up the camera flash. Awesome for early in the morning or late at night - making sure not to step on dog toys/bones...

Just be patient. It will come soon. As previous posters said, the phone is just getting into peoples hands right now, and the JB teams will have to test it to make it user friendly. Besides, they don't to show all of their cards just yet.........

I'm with you!!! I jail broke my I4 tethered iOS 5 because iOS 5 just didn't cut it. Now I have my 4s and the fun wore off 20 minutes later. Now it's like having a fast 4 - but without jailbreaking- the speed is overshadowed by lack of stuff I've been using for years now. Multiflow- sbsettings- I would jailbreak tethered just to have it back on here. But, I'm not a developer- it makes you appreciate their work in times of absence. I'm not complaining about how long it'll take because when it's out---- it'll be awesome and a breath of fresh air. Absence makes the heart....

If Ipad 2 can be jailbroken at IOS 5, then Iphone 4s too can be jailbroken. Just waiting for the release, coming soon.

I'm sure it can. My guess is that the iOS 5 iPad 2 jailbreak was withheld strategically. If they did jailbreak iOS 5 beta on the iPad 2 it would reveal iOS 5/A5 vulnerabilities, and give Apple a nice little patching window.
