    Default Tether only?

Just curious as how big of a deal the tether only boot option is for iPhone 4. Thinking of doing it on my Verizon iPhone but this is one thing I need more info on.

I guess that would be a good way to avoid issues. I remember on my old 3G a fe times tethered I was stuck without till I got to my computer. Will the stock apple 5.0 firmware for y verizon iPhone 4 work or do I have to download another version somewhere?
