Please Help! You Tube crashes my 3g 4.2.1 JB w/ Snowbreese 2.2.1

I have iPhone 3G Firmware 4.2.1 Jailbroken with Sn0wbreese 2.2.1

When using Stock You Tube app I get a message saying "cannot connect to you tube", If I click on a you tube link within Safari the phone crashes and goes into Safe mode.

Any ideas? Am i missing something?

Do you have the official sim to activate it. Hactivation causes Youtube not being able to connect.

Right on the money, I just stuck an old sim in it, I wasn't aware of the associated problem with You Tube. Is there any way around this? I just figured with wifi there wouldn't be an issue. Thanks for the help.

Since you have the sim , no service is fine, build another custom fw with no hactivation under Expert mode should fix YouTube problem
