Cannot update to iOS 5. Errors 3194 and 3002

this is a different topic, but, I tried to look for this and the search does not works )always go blank), this is the issue, I have an Iphone 4 with 4.3.5 and if I try to upgrade using a 5.0 custom ipsw it gives an error 1600, but only with the custom firmware, with the regular one does not happen it, any idea, and I cannot upgrade the baseband, any help is welcome. You need to enter pwned DFU with redsnow before you can restore to a custom firmware.

i got 3194 error .
i open itunes restore 5.0 ( from 4.3.5 )
got 3194
open tiny check set host & request shsh then close it
open tiny again and uncheck them
close itunes and open it restore 5.0 and it run hope this can help u

I was also gettng this error, and your solution fixed it.
I think the Tiny Umbrella developer should take note of this, and the Dev Team.
Maybe a File, Save and Exit option would be good too.

• Deleted the apple server in hosts file
• Turned off my antivirus and firewall
• Downloading latest version of itunes
• put my ipad in DFU mode
• shift+restore and selected the ipsw file

But still I get 3194!!! Help me please

You cannot go to 5.0 anymore. 5.0.1 is the only option unless you have 4.X SHSH.

Nope. Now that Apple has stopped signing 5.0 there is no way to restore to it anymore. You can either stay on 4.3.3 or go to 5.0.1.

Didnt pointing the Hosts to cydia earlier allow us to do sumthnig like that. I dont want to go to 5.0.1 and miss on the Charlie Miller bug for untether! Please help!
