Default Any danger of "official" unlocking on JB'd 3GS with 6.15?

    Hi gang,
I had my 3GS jailbroken and unlocked in Bangkok, mainly to be able to use it in Thailand. That involved upgrading the baseband to 6.15. Back in Germany, where I live, I now qualify for "official" unlocking via Deutsche Telekom - which I've applied for. My question: is there any danger the unlocking will fail or cause the phone to go haywire due to the 6.15 baseband?

If I do the unlock (and presuming I lose the jailbreak in the process) will the 6.15 BB stand in the way of upgrading to iOS 5 in the normal way?

Or should I just remain jailbroken and go through the jailbreak path to iOS 5?

If you already have iPad bb, then you can restore to cfw of iOS 5, Ultrasnow should be updated for iOS 5 when untethered jailbreak is released.

I don't see a reason for a carrier unlock to be disrupted with the iPad bb. I have actually seen a user have this setup. But tbh it's pointless to get a factory unlock bc your bb is already unlockable and can't be changed at the point in time. It'd just be a waste if time and money if any is to be charged.

Edit: it's not like you could go to stock iOS 5 anyway, you'd have to do ad iYeow says and use a custom fw. So you're gonna still be jailbroken. Bc of the iPad bb you have to use a custom fw.
