iPhone 4 Untethered and Unlock Question

Currently at 4.3.3 unlock and untethered, can I use the latest redsn0w custom ipsw to install ios5 and remain untethered and unlocked?

I am currently on 4.3.3 and have a factory unlocked. Can I go to 5.0 and be un tethered ? If so how can I do this?

Simon I have a iPhone 4 (sim free in the UK) so I assume it is on 4.3.3 GSM

iPhone 4 will be tethered on 5.0 right now. A untethered jailbreak should be out sometime soon though, Chronic dev team has one in the works.

On a side note. I notice you have a iPad. Just a simple question are they easy to jailbreak. As I am thinking of buying one next week iPad 2

iPad 2 only has a jailbreak if it is on 4.3.3. Any other firmware and there is no jailbreak for it. The same untethered one from Chronic dev should work on it though when it is released.
