Iphone wont restore after trying to update jailbroken iphone 4

I tried updating my jailbroken 4.3.3 iphone 4 foolishly to ios 5 with itunes. It didnt work now my phone has been stuck in recovery mode . Nothing is working. I even tried deleting stuff in the hosts. Please help...

Did u update to iTunes 10.5??

Yeah I did. Heres what happened in more detail. I was gonna update firmware to ios5 . so to do that i Knew I had to unjailbreak. So I was gonna restore to orginial settings but I pressed restore in itunes but it also came with update and restore , so I think it restored then tried to install the new ios, now its in recovery mode. Any ideas what to do?
