I need to restore my phone. I have a iphone 4 with the same firmware it came with 4.1. I have it jailbroken I am having some problems like it restarts it self and freezes. I think i need to restore it. I would like to know a simple process I could follow to restore downgrade i guess and rejail break. I have the blobs saved on tiny umbrella. Can someone lead me in the right direction. It is so much info out there what is the easiest to follow?

If you have 4.1 blob, start tss Server and restore to stock 4.1 ipsw. You shouldn’t be getting any error as you are restoring to same fw.

So what if I want to upgrade my firmware what is a good one?

Why don't you wait till IOS 5 is relaesed together with untethered jailbreak and do all at once. It is only couple of days away.
