BIG iOS 5 question. Please answer with your opinion/experience
Hello fellow modders

With the imminent release of iOS 5 this wednesday I have a question that probably half of the jailbreaking community has out there... SHOULD I upgrade to iOS 5 as it's released? I heavily rely on jailbreak mods like QuickReply, ScreenDimmer, LockInfo, and een though I don't HAVE to have a theme on its just nice eye candy... I'm wondering if it would be a wise idea to upgrade. I do reckon that this will kill my productivity and make me a "standard" iPhone user but I've been a loyal Apple fan for a while and I think it would be nice to "go along" with their calendar and upgrade.
2 extra questions
1) I've read around and it seems like Apple is killing downgrading by saving SHSH blobs (tinyUmbrella) will this mean that if I'm unhappy with iOS 5 ill be stuck with it?!
2) If any devs or iOS 5 beta testers are reading this, what were your experiences with iOS 5 (I do realize the beta is COMPLETELY different from the actual release) but just wondering what your thoughts are.
Thank you very Much

Well, downgrading iTunes should let you downgrade firmware with blobs for one thing, also , iOS 5 GM is great now, I still have a few glitchy issues, but most iOS 4 jailbreak apps work on iOS 5 (few exceptions) , I'd say make a backup and save blobs, update, to iOS 5, if ya don't like it, downgrade iTunes and downgrade firmware (:

Yes, but it's a tethered jailbreak

Oh... To be completely honest I know how a tethered JB works, YET i don't know the mechanics of it so I'll probably be fussing around for quite a while if my phone ever runs out of battery. Do you think the DevTeam or other jailbreakers will develop something in a near future (again, I am no dev so I dont know how complicated it is to exploit iOS 5)

Chronic dev claims to have a few exploits for iOS 5 (they didn't release in betas so that apple couldn't patch) but yeah, chronic is openly working on ios 5 untethered (:

Awww dude that is SWEET! I really want to learn how to program and develop and I already have a couple of ideas for little apps I'd be interested in creating (just to try it out I really have no other intentions) but I just can't find the time (pssst... Don't tell anyone but I'm still in High School) Hahaha
