I installed ios5 off the lifehacker article, it booted up, but it couldnt restore my backup. It started the process and got all the way to installing the apps, then it just stopped and failed. Once it came back it just wouldn't restore anything and just spit an error saying the backup was invalid.

I tried recovery mode, plugging into itunes and im getting a 1604 unknown error when trying to restore. I'm stuck. I have multiple backups in the user/appdata folder, I just can't get it back to normal iOS4 to even try.

Any help is appreciated.
