Hi there i have an iphone 3G that was locked to o2. its got firmware 4.2.1 and i upgraded baseband to 6.15.00 threw redsn0w. Its jail broken and upon completion i ran ultrasn0w to unlock which seemed successfully. I used an o2 sim card which is original carrier and phone worked completely fine. I gave the phone to my girlfriend who is on Orange and the sim card is recognised, sends and receives texts, rings and accepts incoming calls which is good. However there is extreme interference on both ends of the line and even to the point of whoever she calls cant hear anything she says. There is no problem with my o2 sim card tho. Could it have anything to do with activating her sim with itunes or something (dont no if the whole activate thing exists to be honest). Its just very puzzling and frustrating so any help would be excellent, thanks
