Help Please With Iphone

hi every1 if i have posted this in wrong section im sorry as im new and would appreachite help pointing me in right direction,

so my problem is

i have iphone 3gs on 4.2.1 not sure what baseband but i recently connected my phone to itunes and im not excatly sure what happened but it seemed to have restored it or something and got cannot complete restore error 1015 but my phone is not stuck on connect to itunes pic and arrow.

what has happened and is it fixable???

It sounds like you also have the ipad bb, You can downgrade to 4.1 or restore to custom firmware of 4.2.1 with your saved blob.

ok thanks but that makes no sense to me can u tell me if there are any guides or vidoes. also its iphone not ipad not sure if spellin mistake

I know your device is not ipad , your baseband may be ipad baseband and that is why you cannot restore to stock firmware anymore besides 4.1 or lower.

Having Ipad bb will allow you to unlock but you cannot upgrade to stock 4.2.1 or higher anymore .
It also breaks your GPS function.

I told you to downgrade to 4.1 first and check your baseband, if you have ipad bb, then this is the only way to go.

downgrading it it seems to be stuck in recovery what ever this it, im reading on internet and watching videos but nothing seems to work

Did you get error 1015 when downgrading to 4.1 and you should end in recovery mode which is normal.

yeah that is the error im reciving from it now and stuck with itunes connect screen
