Default Apple Logo, Can't Boot, After Erase All Contents and Settings (PLEASE HELP)

    Hello everyone,

I have Iphone 3GS 16GB Unlocked and Jailbroken.
Without much thinking about being bricked or locked again I just did reset inside my Iphone reset menu.
Now my Iphone stuck on the apple logo trying to boot but nothing is happening, I have tried restoring the phone using Itunes without much luck because itunes will not recognize my phone for some reason!? It tells me that Itunes was unable to connect to update server because I'm not connected to the internet, which makes no sense what so ever, I am connected to the internet and my other iphone is recognized using same itunes and same cable.

Any help or advice in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!

That is good and you want to preserve this unlockable baseband by restoring to custom firmware.
What you need to do now is to find out if you have any shsh blob. Run Tiny Umbrella and download all your shsh blobs.

    It looks like this :

Looks like you have not recorded your device with TU, otherwise you should see recent devices on the left pane.
What is your ECID, you need to retrieve it and input into TU manually.

I hear you, just did that, got my ECID using usbview and manually input into TU but program doesn't recognize custom device being connected.
It's seems as if TU can see my phone in recovery mode, and I can't seem to exit from it, so i'm thinking that might be the problem not being able to use TU?

You can still restore to custom firmware of 4.1 as apple is still signing 4.1. Go ahead and do that

You see, I would try to restore with any firmware version really if atleast I would have a chance to do so. But like I mentioned in one of my first posts, itunes will not recognize my iphone device therefore I cannot try to restore any firmware version using itunes...

Triggering into recovery mode will let itunes recognize your device. I thought you knew that frozen apple logo will not let you restore

What error in itunes ? Do not use tss server, just point hosts file towards apple server and restore to 4.1, you should be able to restore to 4.1 otherwise you are doing something wrong.

ok, how do you point hosts file towards apple server?

cause as soon as I connect my iphone to computer and run itunes i get that message (post#11) and when I click on ok I don't have my iphone detected by itunes under devices on the left side, therefore I cannot access the phone to try and hit shift+restore to load my custom or whichever ipsw firmware file.

Run tiny umbrella, go to adv tab : uncheck > set hosts file to cydia, close TU.
Put iphone into DFU /Recovery mode depending if you are downgrading or restoring to same firmware
Run itunes 10 : shift + restore to stock 4.1 ipsw
    Error 1015 pops up
Run tiny umbrella and use Exit Recovery to kick it out.
Now you are at Emergency Screen.

I'm stuck in recovery mode loop, tried different software to kick out of recovery mode loop but nothing seems to work, as soon as I reboot it brings me right back to recovery screen with itunes cd logo and usb cable shown on the screen, no matter what I do I cannot exit?
    Thanks!
