Help with Iphone 3GS (I am a bit newbie to iphone =)

I need your help getting to work and Iphone 3GS I bought on ebay,

This is the situation of my iphone

1. I have done successfully the tethered jail break using 4.3.5 version (booting with my PC)
2. I installed Cydia and from there I installed from repo666 the ultrasn0w to unlock it

however it is not working. When I insert the SIM card from another cell phone that is working I got "sim failure" message and can not get it out.


As I workaround I tried to downgrade to 4.3.3 but I failed in the attempt with error 3194 (I think the SHSH are not signed anymore) and I won't be able to downgrade

Can you help me get this iphone working, it does not atter if it is tethered jailbreak I just want it to work

Downgrade to 4.1 firmware as apple resigns back this fw. You have to install ipad baseband if you don't have an unlockable baseband which may break your GPS.

What about solutions that you find on the NET that charge 15 TO 25 USD to Jailbreak and unlock your iphone, has anyone of you used this? I prefer to spend 25 and use the GPS.....

I think that silence can mean only one thing... SCAM...

You can pay 25 bucks to have it unlock but it will still be unlocked with iPad bb unless you change the bb chip.

I know in Vietnam, they will change the bb chip
