Optimum app

I am a Cablevision TV subscriber with cable modem internet access at home. Cablevision (which uses the Optimum brand name for internet services) has an iPhone app that allows me to watch TV while at home. As of yesterday the app does not work with a message stating that it is running on a modified system software. Is there a work around? I heard that something similar happened with Time Warner and a fix was available.

I too am in the same boat. One day it worked, the next day I got the message and was locked out. I thought it was just my device at first, as it had recently crashed. I really hope someone comes up with a fix for this jailbreak detection soon. My cable box is in a different room than my projector and I use the app as my remote control.
