    Default Strange Problem...

    Hi,

I was in a phone store the other day browsing.
I was considering getting a new phone so the shop assistant sat down with me and began asking me some questions about what I was looking for.
I mentioned how I currently had an iPhone 3GS so the assistant asked if he could look at what apps I had, so I let him have a look.
After a few mintues of sitting with him I left without getting a new phone and went home.

When I got there I found that none of my apps were working except for the ones that are there as standard (Contacts, Pictures, Settings etc..)
Also, when I plug my iPhone into my laptop it doesn't show the phone in iTunes.

I was wondering whether the shop assistant has done something to my iPhone because he realised it was jailbroken and if he has, can it be reversed?

I would go back to the store and question the store attendant. He/she has no right messing with your device. Are you running a tethered jailbreak?

    No its untethered.

I've just gone into the app store and had a number of updates available.

After installing them they worked again but it still doesn't show my iPhone in iTunes
