iPhone 3G 4.2.1 Cydia Crashes installing gdb?

I have had BigBoss Recommended Tools on my iPhone 3G for a while now and never had a problem.

Now I upgraded a lot of things on my phone that Cydia said had updates and none of them failed.

Yet for some reason, when it said it had BigBoss Recommended Tools and gdb to install, the installing of gdb always seems to crash Cydia then it says it needs forcibly removed opening Cydia again, this just occurs in a loop.

My iPhone 2G running 3.1.3 upgraded both packages fine, so not sure what is going on with my 3G.

EDIT: Well so far I did "apt-get install gdb" and it's working so far, but now to install BigBoss tools. Still not sure if there is no package errors, why Cydia would have crashed on it.
