OMG Please Help

PLease Help..
know i shouldnt have even been touching or doing this but i was between a rock and a hard place..

I have an Iphone 4 unlocked with an original gevey and jailbroken.
I needed to do a reset because the phone started doing weird things. After 4 days of no one being able to help me and no websites clearly explaining what i should do, i made a stupid decision to reset using itunes, which upgraded my firmware to 4.3.5 now when i go to itunes it tells me that the sim installed is not the correct one. and that i need a SIM supported by the carrier with no pin. BUT i have a simple mobile sim and a Gevey....
WHat do i DO??
What did i do wrong??/
Am i stuck??
PLease Help... Ive been without my beautiful phone for a week now.
BTW the original problem was that my phone died and when i started the whole process again when it came down to the airplane mode the "sim failure" and "no sim installed" signs never came up.
I have looked all over the internet and gone to lots of stores not no help..

OK but the person that installed my previous jailbreak did so with Pwnage.. and said that i might need to always do so with this tool.
is this true?

You are already at 4.3.5, what you need is to get it activated. Two ways to do it, either put an official sim or hactivates it with redsnow 0.9.8 beta.
Not sure if you can run Tiny umbrella from Emergency screen to find out if you have shsh blob to downgrade, you can try and see if you have shsh blob for downgrading .
