iPhne 3GS huge problem
Hi all,
so is been awhile since i have posted here,
i was on 4.2.1 it was jailbroken and unlock with BB 06.15 the wifey was using it,
and then all of a sudden it rebooted itself and now there is no wifi, BB, bluetooth
The IMEI and ICCID there, but also its just rebooting itself after like 5mins and thats all it does now.
i have have tried restoring to a custom firmware made with pwnage tool that i have found online with 4.2.1 with BB 06.15 but that does not work either, can anyone help me? with any suggestions or something else i am missing that maybe i could do? to bring it back to life.
I have searched the internet all over and couldnt come up with anything so that why i ended up here!
Cheers,

To reload 4.2.1 (or any iOS except the current, you need SHSH blobs.
Use Tiny Umbrella to get them, then TU's TSS Server to serve them up).
A custom firmware built by PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze must be used because you have 6.15.x BB
Use either pwnagetool or sn0wbreeze to built cfw and also put device in pwnd-DFU mode.
Then: shift/click select custom firmware restore w/iTunes
You'll likely get an iTunes 1013 error at the end.
If error, from Tiny Umbrella, press exit recovery
If no help, from Tiny Umbrella, press fix recovery.
If no help, from the TU web, download fixrecovery.
.. google search/download zlib1.dll...
Extract zlib.dll and fixrecovery to same directory
Put the device in .... Normal ... DFU mode
Run fixrecovery421. It may take some time. Be patient.
Notes: Build your own custom firmware. It's easy and you know it's good

funny thing is i cant even get my blobs as the computer that they are on are on another computer, so im gonna have to wait to do anything, but if i restore from my blobs this will stop the rebooting and my BB and everything will come back on the phone?
Also for the help and the info!

Last Q before a restore? Could save you a lot of time .............

Have you installed anything recently? If yes ..... remove it, remove the last week or 2's worth and test again.
Your issues could easily be caused from a recent Cydia addition.

I have been thinking about this since the last post i posted, will this work as there is NO BB what so ever on the phone but did have 06.15.xx on it? also when i go to build a cfw do i add the BB 06.15.xx on it again or do i just restore to a cfw without the BB?, also in my very first post i meant to say there was No WiFi, BB, bluetooth, IMEI or ICCID

Actually, the BB never goes away, especially 6.15.x, regardless of the iOS (working or not).
Use Simple or Expert mode in Sn0wbreeze, no BB update necessary.
If ...much later on after everything else is working... a problem is discovered with calling/wifi/bluetooth/etc ... then it might be necessary to installed again. But this is very rare.

No problem. But please understand. What you're thinking 'does not exist' is the firmware or the iOS. The baseband is very different. Unlike the iOS or firmware (SpringBoard, Apps, what you see), the baseband (or Modem firmware) is internal to the device ... you never see it

So i got my other computer, and i tried restoring from my SHSH blobs, and that didnt work at all i spent about 4hrs trying to get it to work and nothing, i also searched and on a few other forums i found, someone said to try downloading rebsb0w and just flashing the BB again which i have tried too but nothing it just reboots when it freezes on flashing to the iPad BB, So there is still no BB, bluetooth, IMEI or ICCID is there anything else i can try to make it work?
here is the screen shot of my iPhone i managed to get before it reboots

this really sucks cos i loved my iPhone and now im just guessing its a brick that i can do anything with unless i replace the BB chip on the bored? or maybe take it somewhere so someone else could look at it and give it a try? but will that even work for someone else to take a look at it? as im all out of ideas![Follow me@twitter]

It's doesn't look good. No IMEI, no MAC addresses
. Sorry, but I'm fresh out of ideas.

I ran into this 3 days ago with a customers phone. Ended up being hardware related. He had to swap the motherboard from another phone and then it was fine. I found out it was hardware once I got some extra "details" he "forgot" about.
