Well guys, much to my surprise, I apparently did not screw things up and it looks like I've successfully gotten back to 4.3.3. It was a restless night of worrying for nothing apparently.

I really want to thank everyone for their help, there is no way I could have done this without your guidance.

FYI: TU is an alternative and superseded editing the hosts file.
