I want to restore my phone because there is a problem with it deleting emails (recommended) It's JB on 4.2.1 with FW 3.10.01. I have no false hope of being able to unlock, but I do want to re JB. What to do? What say Ye?
Thanks in advance

If I had seen this earlier I would've responded earlier
Do you have any SHSHs saved for 4.2.1 or 4.3.3? You can check with TinyUmbrella (get it at thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com)
Edit: /Thread Moved
Next time (if there is one ) post it in the General section. It's got more traffic and us Mods are usually hanging around there more.

Well let's try this, your device is still on 4.2.1 yes? Download iFaith and "dump SHSHs" then create a signed custom firmware with iFaith to restore to. iFaith will save the SHSHs you need for whatever fw your device is currently on, which is 4.2.1 (good thing).
I will go pull up a more detailed guide for you on how to use iFaith.
Create Signed iOS IPSW Firmware Using iFaith to Restore iPhone | iPhoneHail
Here you go. Now after you're done with that part, you can go ahead and jailbreak your device with Redsn0w or Greenpois0n.
