Unable to upgrade from 4.2.1 to 4.3.3

Hello,

Firstly, while updating, I got the error 3194, so I used TinyUmbrella. Then, I got the error 1600 so, I used iREB. However, now I am unable to get passed 1013

I have tried removing the lines gs.apple.com from the hosts file but then I am back to 3194. And, to make matters worse my phone is stuck in recovery mode from which it won't get up, apparently

Please HELP!

When error 1013 pops up.
Put iphone into dfu mode
Run fix recovery 43 to fix error 1013

Did you use redsnow to error 1013, you should use fix recovery 43

Will this work with gevey sim as it says I'll need to select the appropriate carrier?

Gevey sim only works on Iphone 4

Since you need unlock , Gevey sim will not work on IOS 5 yet , so don't update when it is released until there is a solution.
Don't worry about SAM , you will be fine with redsnow. I used my sim to activate , battery still drains fast. It could be due to many reasons.

You should consider getting an unused sim for your iPhone to activate after a restore. It is only about 10 bucks to buy.

If you have 4.3.3 blob, restore again using latest TU, activate it with an official sim and go with jailbreakme 3.0.

I'm in India so don't think I can activate it with an official sim, unfortunately. Never mind, I will stick with the battery drain for the moment..

U can get from eBay.
Run sam . Your battery drain will most probably be solved.
