ipod touch 1GN 1.1.4 how can i upgraqde...

yes i know its old but i got it in a good price
how can i upgrde the frameware(preferd jailbroken)

when i put it in itunes its says upgrde to 1.1.5 and get 1600 eror
and when i put it on dfu mode its stuck on the white screen on the iphone
and get 1601 eror ?

help anyone?

Update your itunes
Download itouch 1st gen 3.1.3 ipsw
Run itunes : shift + restore to stock 3.1.3 ipsw
Jailbreak it with Redsn0w 0.9.4 but browse to stock 3.1.2

I used to have itouch 1g but sold it on Ebay to an Australian, atleast my itouch is travelling across the world ..Lol

Make sure your hosts file is pointing towards Apple server.
