iPhone 4 4.3.3 can't turn off - stuck in DFU
i jailbroke my brand new factory unlocked 4.3.2 iPhone 4 and it screwed.. First it iTunes gave errors like 3194, 1600, 1601, 1050, 37, and every time i restored into custom sn0wbreeze 4.3.2 ipsw, i got loop.. i read from here that someone had similar problems and they were told to restore to custom 4.3.3. Well, i tried that today, and it went well at start. i made custom 4.3.3 w/ sn0wbreeze, then opened redsn0w and chose original 4.3.3 and boot. First the springboard flashed for 2 sec, and went straight to DFU.. Well, i tried again, chose tethered boot and i got to the springboard. Then iTunes sync, and i rebooted... then DFU again. Every time i turn it off, it goes to DFU and i cant turn it on. I maybe didn't tell everything but if someone can help me, i'll tell everything i know ! I hope i haven't broke this thing!

Not possible to break an iPhone software wise..
Download ifaith .
iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones
Extract the shsh blobs.
Make a signed 4.3.2 as u said u r on 4.3.2.
Put your iPhone in pwned dfu mode.
Shift+Restore browse to the signed ipsw and restore using it.
Now you will get an error.
http://cache.firmwareumbrella.com/do...overy-win.zip#
Put ur iPhone in dfu and run fixrecovery43.exe
Be patient it will take some time. Run it with admin rights.
This is a fullproof 100% working method . It has always worked..
After this run redsn0w to jailbreak.
Follow as is.

You can download Fix recovery from here
Zlib1.dll file must be in the same directory as fix recovery for it to work.
Start all over again if you are having problem.
Download the latest version of TU.
Make sure you have 4.3.3 shsh blob in TU
Start Tss Server keep it running
Make sure your hosts file is not pointing at Apple Server as apple is not signing 4.3.3 ( Do this in Advance Tab)
Close itunes and open up again.
Shift + restore to stock 4.3.3 firmware, not custom firmware.
Error 1013 pops up
Try Fix recovery from TU , if it doesn't work then do this
Put your iphone into normal DFU mode
Run fix recovery
Some scripts will run on a terminal
Now you are at emergency screen
Activate it
Jailbreak it with Redsn0w RC17 or 18Last edited by iYeow; 07-22-2011 at 12:03 PM.

Do the same process again. Use jailbreakme.com don't use redsn0w..

Yes, if you are now at 4.3.3, then go with jailbreakme. If you are at 4.3.4, then you can't

Is your idevice Iphone 4 ?
Did you put your iphone into normal dfu before applying fix rec 43 ?

Yes it's an iphone 4. I'm not sure. I'm holding down both buttons, then releasing the top one and then home at about 10 sec. Getting the black screen, then attempted a fix repair using tiny umbrella. It writes out 4 lines or so I can't read (too small) and just sits there stuck on than terminal session.
I'm using a mac. Have not used fix rec 43, is there a mac version? Or are the tools I have fine. Just trying to get back to 4.3.3 so I can use jailbreakme.com and move on.

Your dfu is correct.
Not sure if fix recovery has a Mac version, I don't think fix rec from TU will work. Don't you have a PC ?
Here is the Mac version : Fix Recovery 43: fixes 1013 and other bug tools after iOS4.3.1 recovered | iPad 2 iPhone 5 jailbreak for appsLast edited by iYeow; 07-22-2011 at 07:50 PM.

This is weird. I left my iPhone open for the night, before i went to sleep, the phone had went to dfu on itself again.. Well, i connected to PC, and iTunes recognises it, i can hear voice control working, and everything seems to work, but the screen is still black.
