Cant jailbreak with RedSn0w ?

Everytime i try to jailbreak my iphone 3Gs with ipad baseband it goes to Please wait ..... then it never does anything and then goes back to connect to itunes

What version of redsn0w are you using?

Make sure you are using redsn0w_0.9.6b6 as this one seems to work better

What would be the custom firmware ? and no ive been using redsn0w 0.9.6rc16 because that works for my iphone 3gs 4.3.2.
Im using red sno0w 0.9.6rc16 and ipsw is iPhone 4.3.2

Do you already have the iPad bb installed or are you trying to install it with Redsn0w for the first time?

Restored to what firmware? The same one you were on (4.3.2) or a newer firmware?

Since the ipad baseband is already installed. Just run redsn0w and JB like normal but without the ipad baseband selected.

If redsn0w keeps failing I'd highly suggest using a custom fw. When building the custom fw, since the iPad bb is already installed, make sure it does not include the iPad bb to be packaged into the cfw.

Edit: SHSHs are needed for restoring to custom fw.

Do you think its possible that the reason redsn0w kept failing was because he was trying to jb with the ipad baseband checked everytime???

I tried doing that but i still keep getting the "Please wait....." , i feel like i have to restore my iphone before using the jailbreak

Really wish redsn0w would work

it would suck to have to use a custom fw and no SHSHs are saved. Hopefully you have SHSHs saved OP

Use ifaith to save shsh blobs if u haven't saved them

i cant restore at all. My iphone is stuck in recovery mode. And i tried jailbreaking it and i got" Mounting rootfs as read-only... ERROR! :no successful firmware download after 6000 ms!! Giving up..."

Then you probably wanna check for SHSHs and if available restore with a custom fw.
