If the phone is showing connect to iTunes then use TU to kick out of recovery.
If nothing is happening, put phone in DFU mode and restore then use TU to kick out of recovery if you get a 1015 error.

If your phone stays Black screen and won't turn on. The only way is to reset the NAND by removing the battery from the logic board and put it back.

i was able to restore finally!
now i ended up with iphone 3g 3.1.3 baseband 6.15 and itunes usb logo on the screen...
next ideal steps to jailbreak and unlock please !

So you're in recovery mode? Use TU to kick it out of recovery.

i used tiny umbrella, it kicked me out of recovery and now im stuck on slide for emergency..
how do i go from here?

Use RedSn0w to hactivate and JB then UltraSn0w to unlock.

Don't hacktivate. Hacktivation screws up ur battery.
But I guess u won't have official sim. So hacktivate and after hacktivatin follow this :

Redsn0w 0.9.4 hactivation has no issue with battery drain at 3.1.3 firmware on 3g. It is only hactivation of 4.1 and above.

Thank you all, Finally it worked like this: (iphone 3g baseband 6.15)
- Downloaded original 3.1.3
- Restored from itunes
- Used Tiny Umbrella to kick me out of recovery (and sent me to emergency call screen)
- Hacktivated and jailbrocken using redsn0w 0.9.4(OTHER VERSIONS DIDNT WORK).
- ultrasn0w to unlock (worked like a charm)
