verizon iPhone corrupt firmware need help restoring to jailbreakable firmware

I have a verizon iPhone which was stuck on apple logo but i had its SHSH saved on cydia. So now im trying to restore it to 4.2.8 instead of 4.2.9 so i can jailbreak it. The problem is i get the 1013 error everytime i do it. I realize it is because of the hosts file gs.apple...... So when i delete that line and then try restoring it does not go through after the checking with apple since 4.2.8 is no longer the latest version. So i need help trying to get it to restore to 4.2.8

Error 1013 is normal and expected when apple stops signing 4.2.8.
Close Itunes if it is running.
Put your recovery mode iphone into normal DFU mode and do the following,
Run Fix recovery to exit from this boot loop. Here is the file

Hi so i did exactly as you listed above iYeow and after the cmd.exe was running its course it eventually put itself back into the recovery mode loop. i have an SHSH saved for 4.2.8 and it seemed not to work. Any advice on what to do?

Hey i also tried exactly what you said. it loads greenp0ison and then after it restarts it gets stuck back into the recovery / connect to itunes logo.

Just realized fix recovery 43 will not fix error 1013 even if you have 4.2.8 shsh blob for Verizon iphone. Have to wait for a fix for this

Really? wow this sucks! i cant believe im having to settle for a tethered jailbreak even when i saved my ShSHs. hope it comes soon.
