A friend of mine has an iPhone 4 factory unlocked. I helped him jailbreak on 4.3.3 with redsnow (JBme wasn't yet out) and Cydia's Server should also have its SHSH blob stored (of 4.3.3).
He accidentally updated to 4.3.4 because he is a new to whole Apple and iTunes syncing scene and because Apple has made such a freaking system like iTunes that people don't understand. Now he is on 4.3.4. Is it possible to downgrade to 4.3.3. and jailbreak with jailbreakme? If so, how is it possible? I have jailbreaked many iPhones from 2.x until 4.x. I have also upgraded by preserving baseband update, however, I have no experience in downgrading firmwares. Can you give me instructions if it is possible in this case? SHSH blob is not stored locally, but on Saurik's server.
Hmmm.. No big deal.. :-)
do this :-
Navigate to CWindows\System32\drivers\etc\ and locate “hosts” file.
Add this string there
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
Now shift + restore the 4,3,3 ipsw.. It will do the process and giv u an error. Download tinyumbrella. Click on exit recovery .
Done.
I would say use redsn0w to jb. Jailbreakme sometimes gives a noob circle on springboard after respring :-)
Follow my instructions u will b fine.blobs are saved on Cydia servers . Or u can run tiny umbrella in background with rss server on then u won't have to edit the host files
