    Default Upgrade to 4.3.3?

Ok, i've had an iphone 4 with a cracked screen sitting here for a month. I finally got the screen in, fixed the phone, and now i want to restore and jailbreak my phone. Right now, it's currently on 4.3.2 unjailbroken.

My question is, can I update to 4.3.3 right now, while apple is still signing this firmware version? I tried to shift-restore to it, and i get a 3194 error.

Try using iFaith to save your shsh on your computer. Here's a guide, How To Save SHSH With iFaith [Guide] - GreenPois0n.Us

Once you "dump" your shsh you can build an ipsw with iFaith http://iphoneism.com/2011/06/05/crea...-tinyumbrella/

If you don't want to use iFaith you can still jailbreak 4.3.2 easily.

I hear/see that it is still being signed, unless they stopped like right now.

Make sure host files are set to normal if edited before, assure in TinyUmbrella the box to point to Cydia on exit (under advance) is not checked. Then attempt the restore to 4.3.3 again.
