    Default How TO: Upgrade to iOS5 beta 3

    [CENTER]Current beta works on

    iPhone 3GS
    iPhone 4
    iPod touch (3rd generation)
    iPod touch (4th generation)
    iPad
    iPad 2 Wi-Fi
    iPad 2 Wi-Fi + 3G
    Apple TV (2nd generation)

    Step 1
    uninstall current iTunes fully keep backups!

    Step 2
    Download New iTunes beta and install.

    Step 3
    Get the ipsw that belongs to your idevice

    Step 4
    Open itunes with idevice plugin

    Step 5
    Well holding shift (pc) or command (mac) Click restore

    Step 6
    Go watch tv well step 5 is working

    Step 7
    On device fallow install (must have a udid activated, or try a hack)

    Step 8
    add all of your backs and start loving iOS 5

    Should mention that a dev account is required, without it an attempt to upgrade to iOS 5 beta can cause issues for users. Potentially could cause (but not limited to) inability to downgrade and bricking.

    i have a dev account but im not in the developer program, i dont pay anything yearly, would i still be able to upgrade to ios 5 beta?

    No you have to be in the paid developer program.

    +1. You can always find someone who is a paid developer and have them add you to their account. If they are nice enough to do it
