Need some help jailbreaking/unlock

I previously had my 3gs jailbroken and unlocked on 4.1 and on the ipad baseband .06.15.

My phone died on me and went into recovery mode and now wont turn back on. I was wondering if I have to restore the iphone again and reinstall the firmware or is there a simpler option.

If I do need to reinstall the firmware, can I use the new jailbreakme.com method? I dont have any shsh saved past 4.3.

Please help as I am not very good with this and dont want to make a mistake. Thanks.

You cannot use Jailbreakme as you cannot restore to stock 4.3.3 firmware. If you don't have any blob other than 4.3.3, your only option is to restore to custom firmware of 4.3.3 and nothing else.

Did you try Tiny Umbrella to check saved SHSH blobs? The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella

It's possible, but unusual to have a jailbroken & unlocked iPhone on iOS 4.1 without also having saved 4.1 SHSH blobs for 4.1?
