iPhone 3G with Error 1002, is this fixable
I am trying to fix a iphone 3G that was not recognizing the baseband to I tried to restore it and I got error 1002. Is this fixable. I bought the phone off ebay and it has 4.2.1 and was Jailbreaked prior to me getting it. Any info would be great

Error 1002 is a tough one to deal with, mostly related to hardware issue. Are you not getting any baseband at all ?

That's not good. Your baseband could be corrupt. If a DFU restore isn't working to flash a baseband onto there then there isn't much you can do unfortunately.

Have you tried restoring to 3.1.3 firmware yet ?

No, i havent dont i have the shsh save to be able to do this. Is there any way i can reflash the baseband?

iPhone 3G doesn't need SHSH for 3.1.3. However that won't help your baseband problem. You need to try and restore to a firmware that ha a higher baseband (or same) then what was on there before.
