Why? It needs to be jailbroken to be unlocked.

what i.Annie is saying is that if you want it unlocked to use on unofficial carrier then it will have to be jailbroken
In the end we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am.

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. If you want it back to unjailbroken, you can't unlock it anymore.

Yes I understood your question the first time. Don't you need it to be unlocked???

You can only restore to stock firmware of 4.1 ( if you have shsh blob of 4.0 to 4.1, you don't need shsh blob for 3.1.3 or lower ) but your 6.15 bb will remain there, no way you can change that.
There is no way you can restore to stock 4.2.1 fw and you cannot have 4.2.1 unjailbroken.
If you want the highest fw but unjailbroken, you can only go for stock 4.1 with your already installed ipad bb.
Note : your iphone will not be unlocked if you do not want jailbreak as you have ipad baseband.

+1. like I said, if you want to unlock you shouldn't restore your phone to original settings. It needs to stay jailbroken.
