hi im trying to unlock my iphone 3g with firware 05.15.04, im using windows XP. i manage to get cydia installed on my device but cant upgrade firmware to 06.15. to unlock my device. please give me directions.

You need redsn0w rc18. Search google, and you need the 4.2.1 firmware as well from » felixbruns.de

i had rensn0w 0.9.6 rc 18 software, firmware 4.2.1
when i run software it goes till DFU mode, then it say's fetching ipad baseband file (please wait be Paitent) then window just goes away without giving any msg. iphone is off... please advise what i have to do next thanks in advance for help.

When running redsn0w to jailbreak, do one at a time, jailbreak it first by choosing install cydia and then do a second time by choosing install ipad bb. You can use Redsn0w RC 8 to jailbreak and ipad bb update.
