iOS 5 Beta downloads in iOS Dev Center
How come the iOS downloads in the Apple Dev center are weird and end in .dmg? Won't work for iTunes. Do they have to be ran through something first?

You'll need to open the disk image (.dmg) and then extract the IPSW. 7Zip for Windows should handle the file type, and on OS X it can be done natively (i.e., just click the DMG to open it).
