    Default Is it possible to restore to stock iOS 4.0 on iPhone 3G without SHSH?

    As stated in title, I want to get my iPhone 3G onto iOS 4.0 but I only have SHSH for 4.1 and 4.2.1

    I only want to go to 4.0 as this is the last version with an unlockable baseband. Is this possible?

    No, it is not possible to restore to 4.0 without shsh blob.
