After JB iphone it seems laggy
After jailbreaking iphone seems laggy
Just recently upgraded from a 4.1.3 jailbreak to a 4.3.3 jailbreak. I was having some issues with my phone being laggy, the most annoying issue was that the home button was not responding when I pressed it (couldn't exit apps, couldn't bring up the task switcher, voice dial problems, etc.) Only after 5 seconds or so of pushing the home button would I be able to use the desired function. So I upgraded to a new FM and I am still having the same issue.
I have an iPhone 4, JB with redsnow 0.9.6rc16. Thanks!

Have you installed a lot of apps/themes/tweaks as this can slow down your phone alot so if you ahve you should uninstall some.
Also install SBSettings and see what your ram is. You should be hitting around 300MB on an iPhone 4.
Don't know if this will help but it's worth a shot anyway

I'm well above 300, I'm usually around 320-340 MB.

Don't know why it should lag then :/
Also if you want to replace the home button you could you activator to replace the action with a different gesture
Sorry I couldn't be more helpful

Its something to do with the FW as far as im aware.
i've always had the HOME button problem, JBroken or NOT
As for lag, i've noticed as you have more and more tweaks in the background it takes a little while longer to respond,
such things as "infiniboard" means folders take longer to load.
themes as they images are being replaced
Sbsettings (activator) as its checking for swipe and "special" commands rather then just typical HOME, POWER or Volume taps.Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.
