    Default wifi icon missing while connected to wifi

    Anyone have the problems I have with iOS 4.2.1 on Iphone 3G? My wifi icon would be missing from the status bar even when I checked Settings it showed i'm connected to my wifi. Any solutions? Thanks.

    Did you turn on memory of RAM from sbsetting ? It could be due to insufficient space for the wordings.

    Lol you are absolutely right!! Hmm, I guess I was paranoid then or my wifi is just laggy because it seems slow so I thought it was running off the Edge network. Thanks!! Btw, which firmware is better 3.1.2 or 3.1.3?

    Go for 3.1.3 as some newer apps requires the later version of firmware.
