white screen with error 21

I have a iphone 3g that everytime I try to restore, it kicks ,me out of dfu and gives me an error 21. Tried several different methods of repair. Any ideas?

ive tryed custom firmware and down grading and even just the plan restore but nothing works.

You need to enter pwned DFU with redsnow first if you want to restore to a custom firmware.

i did that to and shift + restore will allow you to manually choose what firmware to use to. but that didnt work either
