    Default Text Tones won't change??

I used some theme sounds in winterboard. The problem is I see the names listed for text tones, I can select and play them, but when I get a new text the sound is my old text tone?? I uninstalled the tones theme and rebooted the phone and now I can't change the tone. No matter what I select, it plays my old one. I can hear them play correctly when I select them, but when a new text comes in it continues to play my old one. I powered the phone off and rebooted and nothing changes. Why?

    Thanks

are you using bitesms, if so in bitesms go to settings/ringtones and turn "take control" off and you should be good to go
