Default does a restore from back up keep jailbreak data

first off sorry if this is in the wrong section and sorry if my spelling is bad (im dutch)

ok im on ipad 4.2.1 if that makes a difference

i just started a new game+ in infinity blade for the second time, what i didnt knew was that it wouldnt let me master my items again like the first time i did new game+

so i just trew away all my gold, swords, rings etc. for nothing.

now the back up i have on itunes has my old save file with all my stuff.

so i want to restore to get my stuff back butt i dont want to lose cydia or all my apps with savegames. and my emulator savegames

does anyone knows if i will keep all that if i restore from a back up (the back up was made while jailbroken) (infinity was bought on app store)

You can restore from a backup without losing your jailbreak. But restoring completely will wipe the device.

Also please read the rules about our no warez policy on MMi. Thanks.

In iTunes, right-click your device and select "restore from backup"

It won't wipe your phone's data, it will just restore everything back from the backup you choose.

Like Simon said there's a difference between restoring and *restoring from back up*

If you follow my instructions precisely, you wouldn't be restoring the whole device. You're just loading the backup onto your phone.

No problem. Glad you didn't proceed to completely restore your phone
