Any hope for my dead wifi? 3G 4.2.1 pwnagetool
Hey,
Got this phone delivered a few days ago, everything looked great. Went to jailbreak and unlock and after doing the CFW I found wifi was not detecting any networks (I didn't see if it was wrking before the jailbreak).
Problem is I don't think I can return the phone as I have now jailbroken it
Here's what I've tried:
- Restore cfw 4.2.1
- Restore cfw 4.1
- Reset Network Settings
- Aeroplane mode for 30 seconds
- Wifi off for 30 seconds
- Checked that wifi antenna is connected to logic board (it is)
- Let battery drain to nothing
- Applied pushfix.info "Fix Wifi"
None of this has fixed the problem. A weird symptom is that very occasionally (3 times in 2 days that I've noticed) it WILL detect my wifi network but then it disappears again the next time wifi refreshes.
If anyone can help me solve this I will love them forever!
Thanks

Have you tried restoring to an official firmware (like what it came with) to erase the jailbreak and see if it works.

I think the problem is with the custom firmware, put your iPhone into normal dfu and restore to stock 3.1.3 , you can restore to any stock of 3.xx for 3G without the need for blobs

Yes, you can use exit recovery to kick it out error 1015.
