4.2.1 to 4.3.3 stuck during upgrade/jailbreak.
iPhone 4 was on 4.2.1, BB 2.10.04 Greenpois0n JB and wanted to upgrade and JB to 4.3.3.
I created a custom FW with PWNAGE tool and then opened iTunes and Alt+Restore to use the custom FW.
Got past extracting then the progress bar for "Restoring iPhone Software" hung at like 98% or so. The phone has the Apple logo and the progress bar is also stuck for more than an hour.
I'm not sure what to do next. I have SSH saved for 4.2.1 and up in TinyUmbrella and I'm on OS X Snow Leopard.
Thanks in advance!

Go for custom 4.3.3 using Pwnage tools 4.3.3
OR you don't really need to preserve a baseband which is not unlockable, if this is the case, why don't you restore to stock 4.3.3 and jailbreak with Redsn0w RC15 or RC16 to make is simpler.
Just make sure that your hosts file is pointing towards apple server by unselecting : set hosts file to cydia in the advanced option of Tiny Umbrealla > save it and close it before restoring to stock 4.3.3 ipsw in order to update your baseband.Last edited by iYeow; 05-16-2011 at 11:30 PM.
